Author: So now most of the lightning construction is finished, it’s time for the fireplace construction. The following picture represents the floorplan of the fireplace.
The construction is done by a specialized company. Just one picture will make clear that it’s really a small building project on its own.
After construction was finished I needed to install the electric wiring. Lucky or me I was so smart to put the electric tubing in when construction was in progress. So I only needed to place the wiring. The following pictures show the strips mounted and also the switch to turn it all on/off. I also put in a TV cable, telephone wire and Ethernet. The telephone wire is intended for a serial interface with the RGB controller because all my phones are wireless. These connections are all combined in the Nedap combi-outlet in the lower right side of the picture.
Everything is concentrated behind the service door so let’s take a look inside
The infrared sensor looks through the holes in the service door. No special mounting needed it works great this way. Also the advanced RGB controller is visible and in the rear is the 60W (china build) power supply .
