ATX power supply specification

ATX power supply specificatio

My ATX powersupply
I have a lott of old power supplies lying around here. I just took the most powerfull from the stack. A 350W unit from Maxpower, model PL-350 with the following specs:

  • +12V / 15A
  • +5V / 40A
  • +3.3V / 20A
  • -5V / 0.5A
  • -12V / 0.8A

So as you can see, it’s pretty much! Make sure the parts you are using match the currents of the supply! If you do not do that, they can melt or even start a fire.

It also has a 5V standby voltage (3A) that is always on and a power-okay signal that can be used for a power-on indication led.
